Sustainable Acai Bowl
This Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Amazonian fruit is an all-round health winner. The extremely low sugar content makes it a highly unusual (and very healthy) berry which stores its energy in omega fats and proteins instead of the typical glucose!
Açaí is the highest scoring berry when it comes to Antioxidants. These bad boys flow around the body neutralising free-radicals and protecting your system from oxidative stress. They are also essential for cell repair and growth.
And finally, they are a great source of vegan proteins, omegas, and essential amino acids. And if none of this sways you, then it is a perfect ice cream alternative for vegans and dairy lovers alike.
300 g Grow Wild açai purée (3 packs)
50 ml nut milk (we recommend brazil nut)
Squeeze of honey / dash of date syrup (to sweeten)
Nut butter, granola, banana (to top)
Run the un-opened packs of açai purée under a cold tap and place them in a bowl of cold water for a few minutes.
Cut the tops of your açai packets with some scissors and slide the pure purple fruit into your blender. Then add the nut milk and honey or date syrup.
Blend until smooth and glossy - add more nut milk if necessary.
Pour into a bowl, top with banana, granola and nut butter.
Grab a spoon and enjoy!
